          PPE & the JSAs

At One Power, safety is our priority. We go above and beyond the industry standard of an average construction site and require that PPE and job site locations are secure and safe for everyone.

A JSA is a Job Safety Analysis that is present at every site, outlines every task to be completed at the site, on a daility basis. The JSA at each site is required to be read adn signed by every employee on or visiting the site to ensure that everyone uderstands the tasks and emeregency procedures if any were to occur.

Wondering what kind of personal protective equipment (PPE) you need for a specific activity? Fill out the JSA below to find out. To receive PPE, talk to an associate.

          Signing Out an Administrative Vehicle

If you need to use any of the dedicated office vehicles, please sign the vehicle out on the Vehicle Sign-out sheet at the office front desk, detailing the times you will have the vehicle. Knowing who is using the office vehicles and for how long allows other staff to make alternate plans as needed.

          In preparation:

          • Location of keys: Keys to all shared use vehicles (and much of the construction equipment) are available on the Key Board in the construction bag drop room. If spares are needed, please see an Associate.
          • Location of registration and insurance: OP’s current auto provider is Arch Insurance Company and if needed, there are identification cards located in each vehicle.
          • In case of emergency or roadside assistance: Contact the OP Mechanic or your manager.
          • If taking a trailer: Be sure to complete the Trailer Truck Combination Form detailing the weights and capacities of the trailers.

          Maintenance and repair:

          • Check tires, lights, service components (if applicable), etc.
          • Please report any damage or issue with the vehicles to the OP Mechanic immediately.

All service trucks are built and equiped for construction-specific activities or system operator response. The flatbeds can be used as passenger vehicles and may conveniently be loaded like a trailer. The Expedition and Explorers are non-field vehicles dedicated to the office staff. The ambulance is for EMT training only.

All vehicles are logged in OP’s asset tracking software where all scheduled services should send automatic reminders to the fleet vehicle owner.
