Bluffton Middle School Visits NFWC

The Bluffton Middle School teachers asked us if the North Findlay Wind Campus could be a destination for their students’ 8th grade trip. From the Ohio House to the Wind Campus

One Energy welcomed freshmen legislators to the North Findlay Wind Campus Friday to learn about wind in Ohio. We’re grateful to be an informative stop on their tour of the area!

Turning wind into scholarships

The Megawatt Scholarship ceremonies are underway! If you’re unfamiliar with One Energy’s scholarship program, learn all about it at www.megawattscholarships.org. Megawatt Scholarships are one way One Energy customers ensure their renewable energy investments directly benefit the communities in which they do business.

For every turbine One Energy installs for a customer, we donate $5,000 each year to a local high school graduate pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM). In addition to the scholarship, these students receive their names on that customer’s turbine.

One Energy and Wind for Industry® customers encourage education in the technologies and industries of the future. This scholarship program is a part of One Energy’s commitment to being good corporate citizens and building lasting relationships with our customers as well as with the communities where we operate.

Congratulations to this year’s recipients so far!
