One Energy invites Findlay Young Professionals to the North Findlay Wind Campus! Learn about One Energy and Wind for Industry® while touring the building, the wind campus, and the interior of one of the wind turbines powering Whirlpool Corporation. This is part of our View From the Top series and Jereme Kent, CEO, will be speaking. Attendees are encouraged to ask any questions to our staff of field engineers and other wind experts. OE Persuasive Writing Course: The Business of Writing and Reading
One Energy will be offering a persuasive writing class called The Business of Writing and Reading. The course will be held on Tuesday evenings 6-8pm and consists of six sessions over seven weeks (no class on October 16th). The class will be taught by Becky Kupferberg. She currently teaches writing and reading classes for the University of Findlay, as well as high school English for Findlay City Schools. Becky has a big personality and an even bigger passion for helping students navigate the essence of successful communication. If you love boring teachers who go through the motions, don’t take this class. Becky is sure to keep students interested and excited about rhetoric!
This class is open to all OE employees and will be held in the training room. Please let Doug know if you plan on attending.
August Production Reports – 2018
All projects with the exception of Cooper and Haviland were below their P50 production estimates for the month of August. Annual Maintenance was performed at Cooper, Whirlpool – Ottawa, and Haviland. Significant downtime at Ottawa was due to blade repairs.
