Concrete 101 Training offered

Dr. John G. Everett, PhD, PE is offering a technical training session, Concrete 101,  scheduled for Wednesday, May 31 at 7:00am. 

This is intended for Field Engineers, Technicians, others likely to be working with concrete, and anyone else who is interested.  Attendees should print and review the Concrete 101 handouts (see below). The documents are also saved under Dropbox-Library-Other Presentations-Concrete 101 JGE 20170531.

Dr. Everett strongly encourages attendees to find answers to (at least) Questions 1, 2, 5, 7, 12, 15, and 17 from “Foundations, Concrete, Rebar 20170421” (which is the Concrete 101 Handout) before the seminar.  Other questions may be addressed as time permits

April Production Report – 2017

Production was just over the P50 forecast.

​Goldwind maintenance was completed at WTG 1. Maintenance for WTG 2 and WTG 3 to be finished by the end of May.

There were no maintenance events and very little downtime.

A new addition to the production report postings, the Fleet Report, shows the performance of each project, the wind resource measured in the previous month, the maintenance downtime, and availability, as well as the measured power curves.

Total fleet production for the month of April was 5,775,356 kWh and all projects except Ball and Whirlpool performed above the P50.

Skunk Tank Upgrade

VERY IMPORTANT… if you have ever used the original Skunk Tank computer, please take note.

We have purchased a new Skunk Tank and it is currently being set up to replace the original computer.  In preparation of taking the old Skunk Tank computer offline, we have moved all of the desktop files to Dropbox.  All files that were on the desktop are now in Dropbox (OEE)\IT – General\Skunk Tank Desktop.

Please look through these files and save them to the appropriate location if it is information that will be needing in the future.  If it is not removed by Tuesday, May 30th, then it will be deleted.  If any questions, please check with the IT Dept.
